JOHN BENJAMIN HICKEY (Rev. John Hale) last appeared on Broadway in the Tony Award winning revival of Cabaret. Other NY credits include: Love! Valour! Compassion! (Obie Award) on Broadway and MTC, God�s Heart, The Substance of Fire (Lincoln Center Theatre) and The End of the Day (Playwrights Horizons). He has appeared regionally at the Long Wharf, NY Stage & Film and several summers at the Williamstown Theatre Festival. Television and Film credits include �Me and My Shadows; Life with Judy Garland�, �Sex and the City�, �The Anniversary Party�, Hamlet, The Bone Collecter, Finding North, Changing Lanes. He trained at the Julliard School.

Arthur Miller The Crucible on Broadway,  Richard Eyre's revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which begins previews Feb. 16 at the Virginia Theatre, has added a number of Broadway veterans to a cast led by Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Brian Murray. Joining them will be Tom Aldredge (1776), Anne Pitoniak (currently in Dance of Death), John Benjamin Hickey (Love! Valour! Compassion!) and the newly-announced Christopher Evan Welch (London Assurance, the current Off-Bway Othello), J.R. Horne, Paul O'Brien, Jeanne Paulsen, Jennifer Carpenter, Henry Stram, Patrice Johnson, Jack Willis, Frank Raiter, Dale Soules (The Magic Show), Kristen Bell, Betsy Hogg, Sevrin Anne Mason and Stephen Lee Anderson. Angela Bettis (The Father, opposite Frank Langella) plays scheming Abigail.
