PRODUCER

MARGO LION  (Producer) Broadway producing credits include Elaine Stritch at Liberty, Triumph of Love, Seven Guitars, Angels in America: Millennium Approaches and Perestroika, Jelly�s Last Jam, and I Hate Hamlet. Off-Broadway: Mnemonic, The Cryptogram, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, The Garden of Earthly Delights, and How I Got That Story. She was a producer of the HBO film Dinner With Friends. Her new musical, Hairspray, is scheduled to open on Broadway next season. Ms. Lion is an adjunct professor in the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at the NYU-Tisch School of the Arts. Her productions have garnered 11 Tony Awards, 17 Drama Desk Awards, 4 Obie Awards and one Pulitzer Prize.

Arthur Miller The Crucible on Broadway,  Richard Eyre's revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which begins previews Feb. 16 at the Virginia Theatre, has added a number of Broadway veterans to a cast led by Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Brian Murray. Joining them will be Tom Aldredge (1776), Anne Pitoniak (currently in Dance of Death), John Benjamin Hickey (Love! Valour! Compassion!) and the newly-announced Christopher Evan Welch (London Assurance, the current Off-Bway Othello), J.R. Horne, Paul O'Brien, Jeanne Paulsen, Jennifer Carpenter, Henry Stram, Patrice Johnson, Jack Willis, Frank Raiter, Dale Soules (The Magic Show), Kristen Bell, Betsy Hogg, Sevrin Anne Mason and Stephen Lee Anderson. Angela Bettis (The Father, opposite Frank Langella) plays scheming Abigail.
