BIOGRAPHY
PRODUCER

Roy Furman (Producer).  Mr. Furman is also producing Sweet Smell of Success and Fortune�s Fool this season.  As Chairman of Livent in 1998-99, he oversaw the production of the Tony Award winner Fosse and the development of Sweet Smell.  Mr. Furman co-founded investment firm Selz in 1973 and is currently Vice Chairman of Jefferies & Company, Inc. and Chairman of Jeffries Capital Partners.  He is Vice Chairman Emeritus of the Film Society of Lincoln Center and Vice President of the New York City Opera.

Arthur Miller The Crucible on Broadway,  Richard Eyre's revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which begins previews Feb. 16 at the Virginia Theatre, has added a number of Broadway veterans to a cast led by Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Brian Murray. Joining them will be Tom Aldredge (1776), Anne Pitoniak (currently in Dance of Death), John Benjamin Hickey (Love! Valour! Compassion!) and the newly-announced Christopher Evan Welch (London Assurance, the current Off-Bway Othello), J.R. Horne, Paul O'Brien, Jeanne Paulsen, Jennifer Carpenter, Henry Stram, Patrice Johnson, Jack Willis, Frank Raiter, Dale Soules (The Magic Show), Kristen Bell, Betsy Hogg, Sevrin Anne Mason and Stephen Lee Anderson. Angela Bettis (The Father, opposite Frank Langella) plays scheming Abigail.
