Allan S. Gordon (Producer) 

In addition to The Crucible, Mr. Gordon is represented on Broadway this season by Metamorphoses.  Recent credits include Death of a Salesman (1999 Tony Award), The Iceman Cometh (1999 Tony Nomination), and Rent (1996 Tony Award).  London credits include the original 1998 production of Rent and the 2002 revival at the Prince of Wales.  Allan Gordon's career spans the fields of law, investment banking, real estate and venture capital.  He is the chairman of The Allan S. Gordon Foundation, which among other things, grants awards to not-for-profit theatres for the development of new works.  Mr. Gordon is a graduate of Harvard Law School, a member of The New York Stock Exchange, and a trustee of New York Theatre Workshop.

Arthur Miller The Crucible on Broadway,  Richard Eyre's revival of Arthur Miller's The Crucible, which begins previews Feb. 16 at the Virginia Theatre, has added a number of Broadway veterans to a cast led by Liam Neeson, Laura Linney and Brian Murray. Joining them will be Tom Aldredge (1776), Anne Pitoniak (currently in Dance of Death), John Benjamin Hickey (Love! Valour! Compassion!) and the newly-announced Christopher Evan Welch (London Assurance, the current Off-Bway Othello), J.R. Horne, Paul O'Brien, Jeanne Paulsen, Jennifer Carpenter, Henry Stram, Patrice Johnson, Jack Willis, Frank Raiter, Dale Soules (The Magic Show), Kristen Bell, Betsy Hogg, Sevrin Anne Mason and Stephen Lee Anderson. Angela Bettis (The Father, opposite Frank Langella) plays scheming Abigail.
